Sydney
She is quite the character. She has finished her first year of Pre-School and just absolutely loved it. Every time she went to school, she had a new bestfriend. Her very last day of school, she was sad. As we were walking out to the car, one of her little friends followed us all the way to our car. She stopped Sydney to talk to her one last time. . Next year she will be doing pre-school again because she misses the deadline by 3 weeks. Oh well, she has fun no matter where she goes.
It has been an active summer for her. For the last 3 weeks or so, she has been taken a little soccer class and dance class through our city recreation. She loves it. She loves the dance class and has her nightly performance is this Thursday, July 17th. Another mother one day, commented to me, that Sydney did great and she made it look so easy! She is becoming our little dancer.
Recently she has informed me that "Princesses" (meaning disney princess characters) are stupid and that she only likes Hannah Montana. That really worries me, because she isn't even 5 yet....we are sure doomed!
He has really picked up speaking this past year. He hasn't quite mastered pronunciating all the letters, but he comes close. For example, for my sister April, he calls her A-hole. He is missing just a few minor letters. These days everyone is getting a kick out of it. He is definitely picking up his older sister's vocabulary. Every new boy he meets at the park is his new best friend and when they leave he will say "Where my best friend go?" But the thing I love the most is "I love you too Mommy", while giving me a big hug.
Well hopefully, we will blog again soon...but no guarantees!

Corban
He is definitely our little boy. I made the mistake of renting the movie "TMNT" (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) for him and he is a changed boy. I ended up having to buy the movie later because he wanted to watch it so much...which was a mistake. Now, any two objects that look like swords, are sticking out the front of his shirt (anything from baseball bats, plastic golf clubs, plastic knives, sticks, etc.) During the day we have may different characters scaling our walls...from Spiderman to Batman. He has really picked up speaking this past year. Rachel "our little princess"
She has been a true joy in our lives. So much has happened with her. She definitely is still a mama's girl. She just turned one in the beginning of July. We went back to NY once in April and once in June. She had some competition there with her cousin, Johnnie, who is two weeks older. In April, Johnnie was the green eyed monster with Rachel and the other kids around. He tried to bully her one time. (At the time she knew how to crawl and he was just beginning to move on his tummy). He tried to pull her down, but she just hit him and crawled away. She has older siblings, she knows how to defend herself.
She now walks and loves it. She thinks she is the hottest stuff on earth. She loves that she can follow Sydney and Corban around. But she is definitely getting her own voice. She will tell you when likes something or not especially with her brother, Corban.

Love the update! Your kids are seriously adorable. But ya, that stupid Disney princess thing is a little worrisome...
about time for a new post from you guys. Corban sounds just like Landon and McKay except they have moved on from TMNT to Indiana Jones. Everything is a whip now. The joys of raising boys. Don't worry at least it is Hannah Montanna and not Brittany Spears!!!!
