We went to see Santa this past weekend at Woods Cross Elementary School. Of course, there was a huge line when we arrived. Sydney was very antsy the whole time and worried we wouldn't get to Santa in time. I told her she could only tell him one thing when she saw him. She understood that to mean that is all she could get for Christmas. Because she said "Mom, I only told him that I wanted two barbies and that is it."
Several weeks ago we watched the new movie "Incredible Hulk". Little Corban, being the boy that he is, now states (with his arms straight down and his fist clenched) "I'm getting so angry." Usually you will hear me or Sydney say (in a pretend frantic voice) "Calm down, you need to calm down!" It's incredible...he either calms down or turns green :).
Rachel is learning to speak. She refuses to say "dad". Not only did she refuse to say dad, but she would look straight at Corban and say "MAAAA" then start laughing. We have taught her how to say "babbo" (which means dad in Italian.) But everytime Corban has her say babbo, he has her say the other word she knows "poop". So now she will associate babbo and poop together. Way to go dad!
We have started to send out our Christmas cards. If you have not sent us your address yet and would like a card, please email it to us. We will be in NY for Christmas! Yeah!
