Shooting the Bull with Corban

Corban is such a funny kid.  When we went to Zach and Heather's wedding reception, Corban's uncles and his aunt were able to get him to sit down and "shoot the bull" with them.  He said the funniest things.  Here is a video clip of it.

Zach and Heather had a ring ceremony prior to the wedding reception.  Corban was sitting on Aunt Jess's lap.  The bishop was talking about how a marriage is like a pyramid, where Zach is at the bottom point, Heather at the other bottom point and Heavenly Father at the top point.  Corban turns to Jess and saids "I don't see a pyramid".

Nino:  How do you say "I like your beard" in Italian?
Corban: Mi piace la tua barba.
Nino:  What does that mean?
Corban:  I like your beard.
Nino:  I don't have a beard!

Gracie Update!

Grace is two weeks old and her gestational age is 28 weeks and 4 days.  She is continuing to gain weight.  Her birth weight was 990 grams (2 lbs. 3 oz.), and last night she was up to 1030 grams (you have to do the pounds on your own).  She doesn't have any major complications.  They are monitoring her heart because she has a slight heart murmur.  They did an echocardiogram yesterday.  Currently she has a condition called patent ductus arteriosus.  Which is "Prior to birth, the ductus arteriosus connects the two main arteries leaving the baby's heart-the pulmonary artery, which pumps blood to the lungs, and the aorta, which pumps blood to the rest of the body. The ductus usually closes when the baby is born, separating the two arteries."  Grace's ductus has not closed yet, it still can close on it's own, which they are hoping it will do.  They will monitor to see if her heart rate increases or if she needs more oxygen which are signs of it being an issue.  They will re-check her in a week or two.  That is her current update and she does look bigger already.
