OMG

Yes, our 6 year old and 4 year old are using the words OMG and BFF when they speak to each other.  They are funny.  It has been very busy since Grace came home on July 9, 2010 and great. She came home weigh 5lbs. 6oz.  But as you know she is a "Sims Kid" so they don't stay small for long. She is now about 9 1/2 lbs.   She came home with oxygen, but she has been completely off it (including monitors) for a week. YEAH!  She is a miracle baby because she doesn't have any major health concerns.  They are monitoring her heart still.  The cardiologist wasn't sure if the PDA in heart was affecting her breathing or if it was her lungs. I guess her lungs are a little swollen, so he put her on a dirulic.  They are monitoring her eyes because she came home on oxygen and that  can cause irregular blood vessel growth (ROP).  Her right eye is fully developed without any issues and her left eye is almost developed but it did start to have some ROP.  The doctor has said that because her eyes are so far developed she should grow out of it.  We have a developmental nurse come to our home twice a month to help her stay on track.  We are practicing rolling over.  She is about 2 months behind developmentally if we go by her actual birthdate (which they don't).  If we take her corrected age (the day she should have been born) she is a month ahead.  So she's a superstar.   Now our next challenge is for her to survive her siblings.  Rachel is constantly giving her loves to the point of suffacation.  But we are all happy she is home.

Do you see our twins?

Rachel wanted to be like Grace.  As you can see they both have the little stickers to hold the oxygen tubes on their faces.

First day of  preschool year #1, Tuesday, August 31, 2010

We have 3 kids in school this year.  It's a little crazy around our home in the mornings.  The first day of school for Sydney, she was so excited that she ran to the bus stop before I could get her picture.  I had to chase her down in my PJ's to get a picture.  The other two were picture hungry and couldn't wait to get their pictures.  They all love school.

These two tell me that they don't like each other most days...I don't believe it.
