Dora the Explorer Birthday!

Yes, we did our second "Dora the Explorer" party. When the kids arrived at our home we had a Dora the Explorer Pinata on the front porch.  Once they all arrived, Big Corb went and hide it.  We gave each child a "Backpack" bag for them to go on their adventure.  We told them that we were going to do the pinata, but when we went outside it was gone and a picture of Swiper was in it's place.  The kids then began their adventure.

First adventure was crossing "Crocodile Lake".  But they couldn't cross until all the shapes on the bridge were put back.  Of course Rachel was the leader and each child had to put a shape back on the bridge.

Next obstacle was going thru Tico's hide out.  My original plan didn't work out, which was having them go thru a tunnel of boxes.  Corban was creative though.  He and Zach made a blanket fort in our living room for the kids to go thru with their glow in the dark bracelets. (While they were setting up the fort, we played some games and sang songs).

Then of course, Swiper tried to stop us! We were able to get by him with pinning his tail back on.

Then we finally arrive at the Chocolate Tree where Dora the Explorer Pinata was.  Around the tree were hershey kisses.

Finally the Pinata! With only a few near misses with kids getting hit.
